Generic Peptides Retatrutide is an investigational triple agonist that acts on the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors, supplied as a lyophilized research powder in 5, 10 and 20 mg vials. It has no approved status anywhere, so its figures come from trials. The dual agonist Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are the comparison arms here.
Same investigational peptide in three strengths.
| Variant | Dosage | Form and quantity | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retatrutide 5 mg | 5 mg | Vial | Short |
| Retatrutide 10 mg | 10 mg | Vial | Standard |
| Retatrutide 20 mg | 20 mg | Vial | Extended |
The 20 mg vial carries four times the material of the 5 mg vial, and the 5 and 10 mg sizes also have a U.S. domestic option. A Kalpa comparator, Kalpa Retatrutide 10 mg, and the lipolytic fragment AOD 9604 are the usual companions in this cluster.
The peptide engages three receptors: GLP-1 and GIP, which shape appetite and insulin release, and the glucagon receptor, which adds energy expenditure. Trial pharmacology describes dose-proportional kinetics with a half-life near six days, supporting weekly dosing. The third receptor separates it from the dual agonists.
Dissolve the lyophilized powder with sterile or bacteriostatic water, which is not in the pack, letting the water run down the vial wall and swirling gently. Divide the milligrams on the vial by the millilitres added to read mg per mL. Keep the powder at 2-8 C or -20 C, and the mixed solution at 2-8 C for four weeks.
There is no approved dose, no approved indication and no licensed strength for retatrutide, so nothing here is a suggested human dose. Trials used once-weekly subcutaneous dosing with slow step-ups and reported gastrointestinal side effects most often. The vials are laboratory material, not medicine.

Before you ask
It is an investigational peptide that activates three receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. The molecule, coded LY3437943 during development, carries a fatty acid chain that binds it to albumin so it can be given weekly. It has no approved status in any country, and all human data so far comes from clinical trial phases.
Yes. A phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2023 treated adults for 48 weeks with once-weekly doses and reported substantial, dose-dependent weight reduction, with the highest dose reaching a mean reduction reported by the sponsor as up to 24.2 percent. Phase 3 trials in the TRIUMPH programme were ongoing.
Reported effects in trials are mostly gastrointestinal: nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and constipation, and they are the reason doses were stepped up slowly. Because the safety profile is still under investigation and no label exists, the full risk picture, including long-term effects, is unknown. The material is not for human use.
Add sterile or bacteriostatic water down the side of the vial and swirl, never shake, then divide the milligrams on the vial by the millilitres added to get mg per mL. Store the sealed powder at 2-8 C or -20 C for the long term, warm it to room temperature before opening, and keep any mixed solution at 2-8 C for about four weeks.
It is not named on the WADA Prohibited List. WADA monitors the GLP-1 receptor agonist class, which includes semaglutide and tirzepatide, and has said the status of that class stays unchanged for 2027. Monitoring means findings are collected for research, not reported as doping violations.
The three sit on a ladder of receptor coverage: semaglutide activates GLP-1 alone, tirzepatide adds GIP, and retatrutide adds the glucagon receptor as well. Only semaglutide and tirzepatide are approved medicines; retatrutide remains investigational. In this line the three are run as separate arms so receptor coverage is the only variable.
All three vial sizes are listed on this page as research material with international and U.S. domestic checkout. International shipping is about 35 dollars with a four to ten day transit window, the domestic option is about 25 dollars with up to five days in transit, and orders are handled within one to two business days.
