Dragon Pharma Tesamorelin is a 5 mg lyophilized vial of the stabilised GHRH analogue that reached the market as Egrifta for visceral fat in HIV lipodystrophy. It stimulates the pituitary to release its own growth hormone in a short pulse, so daily injection is the convention. Research material only.

GMP-manufactured, HPLC-verified with the Certificate of Analysis on file. Tesamorelin for sale with U.S. domestic and international shipping.

Product overview

Dragon Pharma Tesamorelin 5 mg GHRH Analogue Vial

Tesamorelin is the only GHRH analogue on this shelf with a real approval behind it: a 44 amino acid molecule capped with trans-3-hexenoic acid, licensed in 2010 as Egrifta for visceral fat in patients with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. It raises endogenous growth hormone and IGF-1, and it does so briefly, which is why the approved product is a daily subcutaneous injection. The vial here is the research version of the same peptide, not the finished medicine.

  • 5 mg lyophilized powder per vial, one pack option
  • Stabilised GHRH analogue, 44 amino acids
  • GMP-manufactured and HPLC-verified, COA per batch
  • U.S. domestic and international shipping options

How Tesamorelin Works

The peptide binds pituitary GHRH receptors and triggers growth hormone release, which then lifts IGF-1, with the fat-tissue effect of the approved drug attributed to that downstream signal rather than to the peptide directly. Subcutaneous bioavailability is low, no higher than 4 percent, and the elimination half-life is 26 to 38 minutes in general references; the FDA label for the injectable gives a mean of about 8 minutes for the SV form and about 11 minutes for WR after a 1.4 mg dose. That is far shorter than CJC-1295 DAC and comparable to the older Sermorelin fragment.

Reconstitution & Research Use

Add bacteriostatic water down the inside wall and swirl, never shake. Five milligrams with 2 ml gives 2.5 mg/ml, so 0.1 ml holds 250 mcg and reads as 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Research material describes a once-daily subcutaneous injection on an empty stomach, often at night, and commonly beside a ghrelin peptide such as the ready-made Ipamorelin / Tesamorelin 10 mg pack or a separate Ipamorelin 5 mg vial. Reported side effects include injection-site redness and itching, peripheral edema, diarrhea and joint discomfort.

Quality & Authenticity

Each batch is produced under GMP conditions and checked by HPLC, with a Certificate of Analysis held for the batch. Store the powder cold and dark, and keep the mixed solution refrigerated.

For laboratory research only. Consult a healthcare professional before use.

Stacks

Tesamorelin Nightly Course

Five milligrams with 2 ml gives 250 mcg per 10 units, and research material describes one subcutaneous injection a night on an empty stomach for a limited course.

Outcome: a short endogenous growth hormone pulse with an IGF-1 rise behind it.

Tesamorelin With A Ghrelin Arm

Pairing it with Ipamorelin 5 mg is the standard arrangement, and the premixed equivalent is the Ipamorelin / Tesamorelin 10 mg vial.

Outcome: a GHRH pulse reinforced by a second receptor, with no trial of the pair.

Comparing With The Older Fragment

Users weighing cost and duration often test Sermorelin 5 mg first, since both are daily peptides with similar handling.

Outcome: an approved-ancestor comparison at the same dose size, still research material.

FAQ

Before you ask

Questions, answered

It is a 44 amino acid GHRH analogue with a trans-3-hexenoic acid cap, approved in 2010 as Egrifta for reducing visceral fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy. It works by making the pituitary release the body's own growth hormone and thereby raising IGF-1. This vial is the research version of the peptide rather than the approved injectable, and it is sold as laboratory material.

General references give an elimination half-life of 26 to 38 minutes, and the FDA label for the approved injectable lists a mean of about 8 minutes for the SV form and about 11 minutes for WR after a 1.4 mg subcutaneous dose, with bioavailability no higher than 4 percent. The peptide is therefore a daily product rather than a weekly one, which is the practical consequence of those numbers.

Let the bacteriostatic water run down the inside wall and swirl, do not shake. Five milligrams with 2 ml gives 2.5 mg/ml, so 0.1 ml equals 250 mcg and reads as 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Using 1 ml doubles the concentration and the same 10 units hold 500 mcg, which is a common source of confusion, so keep the volume the same across a whole course.

The approved label reports injection-site redness and itching, peripheral edema and diarrhea, with joint and limb pain appearing when dosing is frequent. Tesamorelin is contraindicated where the hypothalamic-pituitary axis is disrupted, for example with a pituitary tumor, previous head irradiation or hypopituitarism, and during pregnancy. Class signals for growth hormone secretagogues also include shifts in glucose tolerance.

The 5 mg vial is listed on this page as research material with U.S. domestic and international shipping, and price and stock appear against the option selector above. Tesamorelin falls under WADA class S2 as a growth hormone releasing factor, and that class is prohibited at all times, so an athlete subject to testing cannot use the peptide under any circumstances.
