Aromaxyl 25 mg is an oral exemestane tablet, a steroidal aromatase inactivator, packed as 30 tablets. Exemestane binds the aromatase enzyme permanently, so the estrogen it would have produced stays low after the tablet clears.

Product overview

Aromaxyl 25 mg - Exemestane Steroidal Aromatase Inactivator Tablets

Aromaxyl 25 mg is an oral tablet of exemestane, supplied as 30 tablets of 25 mg each. Exemestane is approved for postmenopausal women with hormone receptor positive breast cancer after tamoxifen. In training the same tablet is used for on-cycle estrogen control, and it is steroidal: it binds the aromatase enzyme irreversibly.

  • Oral steroidal aromatase inactivator, taken with food

How Aromaxyl Works

Exemestane is a steroid analogue of androstenedione that acts as a suicide substrate. The aromatase enzyme accepts it instead of its normal substrate, is inactivated in the process and must be rebuilt before estrogen production resumes, so the effect outlasts the tablet. That is a different mode from a reversible inhibitor such as Arimixyl or Letroxyl, and from a receptor blocker such as Nolvaxyl, which leaves estradiol circulating. On a base like Testoxyl it is chosen when water retention or breast tenderness needs a lasting drop in estradiol rather than a daily seesaw.

Dosage & Administration

The approved schedule is one 25 mg tablet once a day after a meal, swallowed whole. On a cycle it is usually started at 12.5 mg a day, or 25 mg every other day, and stepped up only if estrogen side effects persist, because the irreversible block makes it easy to drive estradiol below the level the body needs. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless the next tablet is nearly due, then skip it and carry on; never take two tablets to catch up. Recovery after a suppressive cycle is handled with Clomid or another SERM. Follow your prescribing physician's instructions.

Stacks

Estrogen Control on a Test Base: Aromaxyl + Testoxyl

Testoxyl at a steady weekly dose + Aromaxyl 12.5 mg every day, raised only if water and tenderness persist.

Outcome: a stable drop in estradiol that lasts between doses instead of a daily swing.

PCT: required - the testosterone base suppresses natural production; run Clomid as the recovery SERM afterwards.

Two Routes, One Goal: Aromaxyl + Nolvaxyl

Aromaxyl at half a tablet twice a week when estradiol runs high + Nolvaxyl 20 mg daily for receptor cover at the same time.

Outcome: the enzyme route and the receptor route are used together, so neither agent runs at a high dose.

PCT: required - the receptor blocker carries the recovery while the inactivator is cleared.

Consult a healthcare professional before any cycle. When a stack includes compounds that suppress natural testosterone, PCT is required. Dosages reflect common community protocols.

FAQ

Before you ask

Questions, answered

Aromaxyl 25 mg is an oral exemestane tablet, approved for postmenopausal women with hormone receptor positive breast cancer as endocrine therapy. In training the same tablet is used for on-cycle estrogen control: it inactivates the aromatase enzyme so less testosterone is turned into estradiol, which limits water retention and breast tenderness.

The approved dose is one 25 mg tablet once a day after a meal, swallowed whole. On a cycle the usual starting point is 12.5 mg a day, or 25 mg every other day, with the dose set by blood work rather than by feel. Because the enzyme block cannot be reversed quickly, err on the low side and let a clinician adjust it.

Reported effects include hot flushes, fatigue, joint and muscle pain, nausea, sweating, trouble sleeping, headache, depression and thinning hair. Estrogen is needed for bone and fat balance, so long courses are linked to lower bone density, higher cholesterol and raised liver enzymes. Seek help for breathlessness, chest pain or a swollen painful leg.

Exemestane is broken down by CYP3A4, so strong inducers such as rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin and St John's wort can lower its blood levels and weaken the effect. Estrogen containing products work against it. Alcohol is not a direct interaction, but heavy drinking adds liver strain and blunts judgment about dose changes, so keep it light and tell your prescriber what else you take.

Take the tablet as soon as you remember if the next dose is still hours away. If it is nearly due, skip it and continue the normal schedule, and never double up. Missing a day now and then is less harmful than a dose that is too high for weeks, because pushing estradiol too low brings dry joints, low mood and poorer recovery.

Yes, the 30 tablet pack is listed here and the product page shows current availability and restocks as stock changes. Every batch is GMP-manufactured and HPLC-verified with a Certificate of Analysis on file. Exemestane requires a prescription in most countries, so check the local rules before ordering.
